- Profile
- Meg spent her early adult life in a social justice intentional Christian Community - she stayed for the shared vision of social justice but finally left because belief left. In the 80s Meg was active in the Australian and International peace movement during the eighties but was unable to continue in this role when she entered the Australian Public Servant as a gender in Education advisor. She spent most of her public service career across 4 jurisdictions working in a wide range of social justice portfolios except for the early years of the Howard Government when all these branches were abolished. Since moving from paid work to unpaid work she has focussed on refugee advocacy, queer rights, permaculture, building resilient shareable communities and her food forest backyard.
