She believes environmental protection needs to be part of this work. For over five decades Lee has assisted in campaigns to achieve these objectives. For 18 of these years Lee was a state and federal Greens MP. She currently volunteers with various communities in Western Sydney working on human rights and justice campaigns in their home country.
