Harindra B. Dassanayake (contactharindra at gmail.com) is a founding member and policy analyst at Muragala | Centre for Progressive Politics and Policy, Sri Lanka. Formerly he was employed as Director (2015-2019, Research, President’s Office of Sri Lanka), Director (2012-2015, Department of Official Languages), and Co-Editor of Patitha, a Sinhala language cultural studies journal (2007-12). He was Visiting Lecturer at University of Kelaniya, University of Colombo, and University of Peradeniya. He received a B.A. Second Class Honours (Upper) at University of Kelaniya; an MA in Development Studies and Public Policy at Open University of Sri Lanka; and an MSSC in Philosophy at University of Kelaniya.
